VERNON: It’s not like I haven’t had those concerns, but it’s also not like I’ve had a lot of them. When I was younger, I think I was a little stressed out about how people looked at me differently because my appearance was different. But then, the answer I came up with by myself was, ‘Of course they’re going to look at me… after all, I am different looking. Just accept it.’ After coming up with that answer, I didn’t feel so stressed anymore.
